I started out at Fort Scott Community College on their Livestock Judging team coached by Brian Anderson. At FSCC I received all american status for my accomplishments judging and in the classroom.

After FSCC, I transferred to Kansas State University and was on their Livestock Judging Team in 2005 under Scott Schaake. I was one of only two team members to hit the floor at all of the national contest that year for KSU.

Since graduating KSU, I have been an Ag Teacher and FFA Advisor in Southeastern Kansas. I judge approximately 20 spring shows, county fairs and regional shows each year for the past 12 years.

Sheep and Goats are my most frequent species judged, but I also feel very comfortable sorting cattle.
