BiographyColby Lind grew up on a purebred cattle and swine operation in southeast Minnesota which led to his involvement exhibiting livestock at all levels. Upon completion of high school where he was involved in 4-H and FFA livestock judging he pursued a degree at the University of Minnesota in Agricultural Education with a minor in Animal Science. While at the University of Minnesota Colby was very successful in the livestock judging program placing in the top 10 at numerous collegiate contests. Most notably Colby was the high team member on the second place team at the American Royal. Today Colby is the Ag instructor and FFA Advisor at Rushford-Peterson High school where he also coaches the highly successful livestock judging team. Colby, his wife Tracy and their son Tate raise Red Angus cattle that they exhibit and market nationally. They are also very involved with the family Hereford cattle and show pig operations. Colby has judged many shows in Minnesota, Iowa and Wisconsin and prides himself in giving an honest, unbiased opinion while working with the youth of the livestock industry to improve their projects.
