Biography

Growing up in Indiana, needless to say she started competing in livestock judging contests at a very young age of 10. She has a true passion for the sport,as well as the livestock industry and will continue to support it for the rest of her endevours.

She attended Black Hawk East College and was a contributing member of the 2008-2009 Livestock Judging Team and graduated with Phi Theta Kappa Honors in 2009.

Torie then transferred on to Western Illinois University where her Livetsock Judging team and herself was very successful. She was very Involved with different extra cirruclar activities in college, such as the Past Vice President of the WIU Hoof N Horn Club, Past Vice President of the American Junior Shorthorn Association, 2007-2008 National Lassie Queen, past Communications/Publicity Chair for the Indiana Junior Beef Cattle Association Board of Directors.

Currently pursuing a career she loves, Torie is the Junior Activities Coordinator for the National Swine Registry. There, she plans and coordinates shows and events for the National Junior Swine Association as well as works with and enjoys teaching and leading youth.

She has had the opporunity to judge at many county and state levels in the midwest.
