Biography

Graduated from Boynton High School in 1971. Showed Polled Hereford heifers, and market lambs. Received the State Farmer Degree in 1971. Attended Murray State College for one year, then graduated from Connors State College with Associate Degree in 1973. Graduated from Oklahoma State University in 1976, with a Bachelor of Science in Agricultural Education. Have been a Agriculture teacher for 28 years. I have coached many livestock judging teams, my kids won the Kansas FFA Livestock judging contest in 1980. My students have shown many champion steers and heifers at all levels. I have judged several cattle shows up to the county level. I was the high individual adult judge at the National Junior Maine Anjou Show in 1997. I have been involved with cattle all my life. I feel like I know a good one when I see it, and I can back it with good reasons.
