BiographyBrad Roeder grew up in Fredericksburg were he was very active in 4-H and FFA. He went to Angelo State University where he was active in wool judging, livestock judging and the ASU Block & Bridle Club. He followed that by earning a masters at Texas A&M University in Animal Science. He helped coach the A&M Wool Judging Team and coordinated the A&M Breeding Sheep Show Team. After college he went directly to work for the Texas Dept. of Agriculture as a Marketing Specialist with the GO TEXAN program. He tries to find new markets for Texas value added products and livestock.
In his spare time he helps his parents in Gillespie County with their ranching enterprise consisting of commercial sheep, cattle, registered Dorpers and wether producing meat goats. He also trains border collies and actively judges sheep and goat shows across the state.
